League Presidents and Bowlers

While Princess Lanes is closed during the coronavirus epidemic, we hope you and your family are safe and well. We miss having our bowlers, and lots of activity, in the Center, and we can’t wait to reopen.

During the mandatory closure time, we are working hard to make sure Princess Lanes and Prior’s will be sparking clean, sanitary and ready for business on reopening day. The mechanics are servicing the pin setters, equipment and scoring system, and other staff are cleaning, painting and making minor repairs. Staff work time is limited and we follow CDC guidelines for safety and social distancing.

Like you, we are disappointed that the current league season is suspended. We will not make decisions about this season until the closure orders are lifted. In the meantime, we would like to know your preferences. Do you want to have summer makeup sessions, get refund for fees paid, or apply unused fees to next year? League Presidents: please send your recommendations to John via email at JRomanowski@princesslanes.com

About next season: We have not distributed renewal contracts for 2020-2021 because we are waiting to get State and County requirements for business reopening procedures. Some of our policies and procedures may change as result of the COVID-19 situation. If you would like to review your contract now, send email request to John. At this time, there is no firm deadline to sign renewal contracts.

Finally, we sadly report that Princess Lanes lost a valued employee who was appreciated by league bowlers. Beverly Argotti died at home on Easter Sunday, April 12. Cause of death was heart condition, not coronavirus. Bev worked at Princes Lanes, holding several positions, for 40 years, and she was our second oldest employee. As League Liaison, Bev was your primary contact for contracts, fees, membership rosters, and weekly reports. Bev will be greatly missed and we will do something special to honor her career at Princess Lanes when the new season starts.

Stay safe and healthy, and watch our website and signage out front for information about reopening.
